Rising young New Zealand showjumper Jake Lambert placed fourth in the FEI children's international jumping competition final in Mexico yesterday.
The 14-year-old from Matamata, riding a borrowed horse, notched double clear rounds in the opening round of the A final and stopped the clock at 32.45secs in the jump-off.
Luke Dee of Cambridge dropped a rail in the second qualifier and was sixth in the B final.
