New Zealand riders slipped further off the pace after the second day of dressage at the Burghley three-day event in England today.
Six-time Olympian Andrew Nicholson was the best of the New Zealanders in 29th equal place on Armada on 57 penalties.
His second mount, Muschamp Impala, was 16th after the first day but slipped to 33rd on 58.9 penalties when the dressage was completed today.
Englishwoman Ruth Edge leads on Mr Dumbledore on 33.7 penalties.
Of the other New Zealanders, Dan Jocelyn was 37th on Mr Pracatan on 59.8 penalties, Joe Meyer was 41st on Ease On Fire on 61.1 and Annabel Wigley was 42nd equal on Black Drum on 61.3.
