Equestrian: Kiwi Donna Smith handily placed

New Zealand's Donna Smith is handily placed after the dressage phase at the prestigious Kentucky three-day equestrian event in the United States.

Smith and her mount Call Me Clifton are in fourth place, just 9.6 points behind the leader, American Kim Severson.

Donna Smith is the only New Zealand rider at Kentucky, and could boost her Olympic chances with a good showing.
