KEY POINTS:
Doug Isaacson edged out his Dannevirke neighbour Maurice Beatson to win the top honours at the national showjumping derby in Taupo today.
Both men had two horses each in the jumpoff but Isaacson and Major Brown went double clear in a time of 50.10 seconds, with Beatson on Jedi Warrior posting 50.19sec.
Beatson was also third on Kiwi Relic in 50.59sec, with Isaacson picking up fourth on Brother Brown.
