Athens Olympian Daniel Jocelyn has withdrawn from the New Zealand eventing team for next month's world equestrian games after his horse suffered a leg injury.
Jocelyn's mount Silence was struck down in competition in the United Kingdom over the weekend.
Jocelyn was replaced for the world games in Germany by Donna Smith, formerly from Te Kauwhata, but now based in the United States.
Smith will ride Call Me Clifton.
