Lisa Coupe's golden season is picking up pace after a quinella in the horse grand prix at the two star Woodhill Sands Show today.
The Kumeu rider was double clear on both her horses, My Ocean Wave and Bates Amaretto, which were the only combinations of the four through to the jump-off. But the honours went to My Ocean Wave in 38.10, with Amaretto stopping the clock at 47.06.
Lucy Akers of Palmerston North, riding Cortaflex Tinapai, was third after picking up four faults, with Catherine Cameron of Cambridge and Kahurangi Tardak fourth with 12 faults.
In the pony grand prix three of 15 starters went through to the jump-off, with Olivia Harding and Hawai Haka the only double clear. Hayley Lockhart on Mia Amoray and Anna Cooper on Howzat Cracka took a rail apiece to settle the minor placings.
