"I'm sure Eddie's up to his regular tricks but I will try not to make myself aware of it really, because it's kind of irrelevant to what we want to do next week," Mumm said.
"We're not going out there and playing Eddie Jones, we're going out there and playing England and there's a whole 23 of them willing to stop us so we've got a big job on our hands to get that done."
Having started the tour with wins against Wales, Scotland and France, Australia was confident of setting up a Grand Slam finale against England by defeating Ireland.
However, the green machine played some outstanding rugby in the first half to lead 17-0 before the Wallabies somehow fought back to be up 24-20 with 19 minutes remaining.
Despite a number of chances created by Australia, Ireland's defence held firm and a 66th minute try to Keith Earls proved the decisive score as the hosts dug in for the final Australian assault in the last five minutes.
Mumm, who was sin-binned in the 2nd minute of the match for a dangerous ruck clean-out of prop Tadgh Furlong, said the heartbreaking defeat would not deflate their motivation for next weekend's encounter.
"I don't think so, I think we've been pretty good shape to motivate ourselves for next week," Mumm said.
"We love playing England, it's a massive match. We've lost a goal in the Grand Slam but there's still a tremendous amount to offer in next week's game and firstly, I'm very excited and I'm sure once we have a good look at things and start to focus on this week then the excitement will be right up there coming into [England]. It's always brilliant to play there and I think everyone will be up for it."
Mumm said revenge will not be on Australia's minds after England became the first northern hemisphere touring nation to beat them 3-0 on home soil.
"I think you can't help but be a little bit disappointed in the way June panned out, 3-0 series losses hurt and it actually wasn't that long ago but we won't be focusing on that as a motivating factor," Mumm said.
"We'll be focusing on what we can do on the training pitch come next week and what we can do to put ourselves in the best position to win the match. If you look backwards, then you end up tripping over."
