In each round of the game your Fantasy team will receive "fantasy points" for their real-life performances.
Fantasy points will be awarded to players for things like matres gained, tackles made, tries scored, tackle breaks and lineout steals. Players will also lose fantasy points for getting sent off and missing tackles.
Each International Rugby player is assigned a dollar value based on their past ability to score fantasy points. While our game's superstars may be highly valued, don't discount the best of the likes of Argentina, Japan, Wales, Samoa and Fiji which could provide great points for your team, depending on the match up.
Indeed, with several teams set to play twice or zero times in any given round, close management of your squad's makeup will be crucial to your success.
Also, look out for teams that will rest their superstars against the minnows - remember when a second-string New Zealand side beat Japan 145-17? Imagine the fantasy scores of back-up players like Simon Culhane and Marc Ellis from that game.
Your challenge is to build and maintain a dream squad that can navigate team selections, favourable matchups, injuries and upset results through the course of the game.
If this all sounds a little overwhelming to you, don't worry. The game is simple to understand for beginners; with advice on gameplay throughout each page while you can manage your team via your mobile device and even follow your players' performances as they happen via our live match centre.
Better yet, you can create your own private groups and leagues which allow you to pit your team against those of your friends, family and work mates. This is the perfect setting for your ultimate office rugby-competition.
Your fantasy team will also be automatically competing with all other registered teams for the overall Dream Team International Rugby title where a grand prize of $1000 cash is up for grabs for the best fantasy manager in New Zealand.
Failing the top prize, you can also earn major bragging rights by competing with former All Blacks and NZ Herald columnists Richard Loe, Ali Williams and Justin Marshall as well as Radio Sport's Andrew Mulligan and Newstalk ZB's Nigel Yalden.
