For some diehard NFL fans, you truly cannot put a price on seeing your team play in the Super Bowl. Even if it means spending your foreseeable future sleeping on the couch.
And that is exactly where one Denver Broncos fan will likely find himself when his wife gets wind of the incredible amount of money he laid out to secure himself a seat in Levi's Stadium for the historic Super Bowl 50 on Monday.
Speaking with NBC, Denver fan Justin Kerrigan revealed he had already spent a whopping US$21,000 (NZD $32,000) on four tickets to the game, and planned to fork out as much as US$30,000 (NZD $45,000) across the entire event.
When the reporter realised Kerrigan was implying he had spent in the tens of thousands for tickets rather than "21 hundred dollars", his shocked response was priceless.
