Former All Black captain and past president of the New Zealand Rugby Union, Andy Dalton, has taken over the chairmanship of the Counties Manukau union board.
He succeeds Roy Craig, who remains a board member.
Dalton, who played all his representative rugby from the mid-1970s to the mid-80s for Counties, joined the union as an independent board member last year.
Counties-Manukau yesterday confirmed a net profit for last year of $492,000, compared with a net loss of $171,000 for 2003.
