Olympic gold medallists Sarah Ulmer and Hamish Carter will be guest speakers at the Halberg Trust's celebrity sporting luncheons around New Zealand this year.
Ulmer, the cycling individual pursuit gold medallist in Athens last year, will speak in Invercargill on October 27, Wellington on November 2, Christchurch on November 3 and Auckland on November 4.
Carter, the triathlon gold medallist in Athens, will speak in Queenstown on October 21.
Halberg Trust executive director, Dave Currie, was delighted the gold medal pair had agreed to participate this year.
"We have established a tradition by inviting our Halberg Award winners to be the special guest speakers at these functions," he said.
"These have proved hugely popular and we know that with both Sarah and Hamish the interest in these events will be intense."
Olympic rowing gold medallists, Caroline and Georgina Evers-Swindell, spoke at sell-out events in Auckland, New Plymouth, Invercargill, Queenstown and Christchurch last year.
