PARIS (AP) The Sojasun cycling team will fold after this season, having failed to secure sponsorship.
The team said in a statement on its website Monday that the team "will no longer be in the professional peloton in 2014" and that manager Stephane Heulot "won't be able to continue the great adventure that started in 2010."
Team rider Jerome Coppel finished in 13th place overall on the 2011 Tour de France.
In this year's Tour, Frenchman Julien Simon looked set to give Sojasun a much-needed win when he surged ahead on the 14th stage, but he was caught with about one kilometer to go and dropped back.
