KEY POINTS:
World No 1 Sarah Walker won the Pacific-Oceania BMX cycling title without leaving home at the weekend.
The Kawerau rider bypassed the final two rounds in Penrith near Sydney but had enough points to take the title comfortably from Australian Melissa Mankowski. Mankowski could only finish fourth in a race won by compatriot Krystal Cranfield.
Fellow New Zealander and world No 1 Marc Willers had to be content with a share of the elite men's title with Australian Jared Graves, who edged the Cambridge rider in both rounds at the weekend.
