World No 1 supercross rider Sarah Walker was in a class of her own on home turf in the UCI Oceania Olympic qualifying event in Cambridge today (Sat).
Walker dominated the elite women's competition, winning all three motos and then claiming the final at the Cambridge International.
She held off a more-than-useful field with Australia's Lauren Reynolds, third behind Walker at last year's Olympic test event in London, finishing runner-up today.
The 20-year-old Australian finished second behind the flying Kiwi in all three motos and the final.
China's Lu Yan, 19, who was second in last year's Asian Championships, finished third with a strong effort in the final after struggling her way through the motos.
