Olympic cycling champion Sarah Ulmer expects a fiercely competitive field for tonight's National Criterium Championships in Auckland.
The former track turned road racer lines up in her first competitive race since the Oceania Champs earlier this month.
Ulmer expects tonight's field to be tough, and singles out Canterbury's Jo Kiesanowski as one to watch.
Ulmer says Kiesanowski is especially strong when it comes to time trials and will push hard come race time. The elite women's race is set to go at 7.15 and the men's at 8pm.
The conditions are unlikely to be favourable, as it has been raining in Auckland today.
