MELBOURNE - New Zealand's Sarah Ulmer is through to the women's individual pursuit (3000m) gold medal ride at the world track cycling championships here tonight.
Ulmer, who set a new record in the event (3min 30.604sec) in the qualifying rounds yesterday, was the fastest rider again today, clocking 3min 31.083sec.
She will battle for the gold medal with Australian Katie Mactier, who won the silver medal at the last world championships, at about 10pm tonight (NZT).
Mactier clocked 3min 32.599sec at the Vodafone Arena today.
