New Zealand cyclist Hayden Roulston has signed a contract to ride for US Postal, the team of Tour de France legend Lance Armstrong.
Roulston yesterday confirmed he would be leaving his French team Cofidis in favour of US Postal.
Roulston, originally from Ashburton, has just returned to his base in Belgium after finishing seventh with Greg Henderson in the madison at the Athens Olympics.
He signed with Cofidis more than two years ago. They have had a difficult 2004, with a drug scandal surrounding the team and casting a shadow over many of the team's riders.
