Two months after taking one of cycling's top events, the Tour of Spain, for a record-breaking fourth time, Spaniard Roberto Heras has returned a positive 'A' test for the banned performance-enhancing hormone EPO.
The 31-year-old has now been suspended by his team, Liberty Seguros, and will be sacked should a second, definitive, test on November 21 confirm the first finding.
Heras, a former lieutenant of Lance Armstrong at US Postal, is renowned as one of the world's best climbers.
