Cycling: Shanks wins bronze

Alison Shanks won a bronze in the 3000m individual pursuit at the track cycling World Cup meet in Manchester yesterday.

Shanks was timed at 4m 39.332s, behind Britons Wendy Houvenhagel (3m 35.294s) and Rebecca Ronaro.
