Kiwi cyclist Hayden Roulston's hopes of riding this year's Tour de France have been given a major boost.
He's been named in a 14-strong pre-selection for the tour by his Radioshack-Nissan Trek team, headlined by Fabian Cancellara and the Schleck brothers, Frank and Andy.
Roulston will know next week if he's made the final cut of nine.
Fellow Kiwi Greg Henderson has already been confirmed to ride the tour for Lotto-Belisol.
He will be the 10th New Zealander to ride the tour in 99 editions.
