Hayden Roulston has declared he is in the best shape of his life ahead of his maiden Tour de France.
The double Olympic medallist will become the ninth New Zealander to ride the Tour when he rolls down the start ramp in Monaco early tomorrow morning New Zealand time. He says with the engine he has and and the from he is in, anything is possible.
Belgian sprinter Tom Boonen has successfully had his drug ban overturned by the French Olympic Committee and will ride for Quick Step in the Tour.
Tour organisers had banned Boonen from the race after he failed an out-of-competition test for cocaine in April.
