The Kiwi contingent in the Paris-Nice cycling race has been cut in half.
Double Olympic medallist Hayden Roulston has withdrawn from the event with a head cold after he failed to finish this morning's second stage to Limoges.
Greg Henderson remains sixth overall, 20 seconds off the lead after finishing 25th on stage two. Henderson got caught behind a crash in the final kilometre and was unable to contest the bunch sprint, won by Frenchman William Bonnet.
Bonnet overhauled Liquigas' Peter Sagan in the sprint, with defending champion Luis Leon Sanchez finishing third. Dutchman Lars Boom has retained hold of the leader's yellow jersey.
