New Zealand's pursuit cycling team had a track World Cup podium finish with a second placing to Germany in Los Angeles today.
The team of Peter Latham, Marc Ryan, Tim Gudsell and Jason Allen made the top two after heading off Ukraine and Australia in qualifying yesterday.
The team were second fastest in a time of four minutes 13.474 seconds, with Germany recording 4:13.143 and Ukraine third fastest in 4:14.032.
Dunedin's Greg Henderson, meanwhile, replicated his fourth placing from the Athens Olympics in the points race.
Henderson recorded 46 points in the 30km event, 17 behind third placegetter Chris Newton of Great Britain.
