New Zealand has fallen just short of a medal at the World Cup cycling meet in Manchester on Sunday morning.
Hayden Godfrey, Tim Gudsell, Peter Latham and Marc Ryan have finished fourth in the teams pursuit, after losing to world champions Australia in the bronze medal race.
BikeNZ high performance director Warren Lister says he's thrilled with the kiwi team's effort despite missing out on a podium finish.
Lister says more importantly, they have stretched their lead to four points at the top of the World Cup standings after three rounds.
