KEY POINTS:
Hawke's Bay rider Glen Chadwick has won the men's elite time trial at the national road cycling championships in Upper Hutt today.
Chadwick completed the 40km cycle in 51minutes 53seconds to win the national title for the first time at the age of 30.
Second was Commonwealth Games time trial bronze medallist Gordon McCauley, from Counties-Manukau, in 51mins 57secs. Third was Aaron Strong, from Auckland, in 53mins 16secs.
