Cycling: Italian cyclist suspended

Italian cyclist Eddy Ratti has been suspended after testing positive for banned blood-boosting hormone EPO.

The International Cycling Union said 32-year-old Ratti returned the positive sample in an out-of-competition urine test conducted on January 21.

Ratti is suspended until the Italian cycling federation holds a disciplinary hearing.
