Kiwi rider Greg Henderson played an integral part in teammate Andre Greipel's fourth stage win on the Tour de France overnight.
Greipel led a final dash among the top Tour de France sprinters to take out the 214.5-kilometre stage from Abbeville to Rouen.
Riding in his maiden Tour, London-bound Henderson helped lead out his Lotto Belisol teammate in the final moments of the stage to set up a victorious sprint finish.
"Amazing feeling. @Lotto_Belisol got it perfect again and we delivered the big Germ. TDF stage win. Incredible. Yeah baby!!!!!!!" Henderson tweeted after the fifth day of the Tour.
It is the second time in the opening four stages that Henderson has put Greipel in a position to grab a stage win after the German was pipped by Brit Mark Cavendish in stage two.
