New Zealand cycling is to lose highly regarded official Michael Flynn, who has been head-hunted by the sport's world governing body.
BikeNZ's high performance director for the past two years has accepted a role with the International Cycling Union (UCI) in Switzerland.
He is due to leave his post with BikeNZ in Wellington at the end of next month ahead of taking on a developmental role with the UCI. It is hoped to appoint a replacement by the end of April.
