Ashburton rider Lauren Ellis won the Tour de White Rock women's cycling race in Canada at the weekend, the first road win of her career.
Riding for the Jazz Apple team, Ellis clocked 2h 44m 28.24s for the 80.8km race.
She crossed the line nearly four minutes ahead of teammate Ruth Corset, of Australia, who edged Calgary's Steph Roorda into third.
