New Zealand road cyclist Julian Dean climbed 30 places in the Tour of Switzerland standings yesterday.
The Athens-bound former Wellingtonian finished the 185km stage from Frutigen to Linthal in 61st spot, enabling him to improve to 78th overall.
German Jan Ullrich extended his overall lead to six seconds over Swiss rider Fabian Jeker.
Dean is 47m 48s behind Ullrich.
