New Zealand's Julian Dean has had a good day on European cycling's Giro d'Italia.
Dean has finished the fourth stage in 14th place overnight, just four seconds behind the winner, Italian Luca Mazzanti.
He is now 48th overall, one minute and 48 seconds off the pace.
Italian Paolo Bettini has held onto the leader's pink jersey.
