KEY POINTS:
Fiona Carswell and fellow Christchurch track cyclist Jocelyn Rastrick have won their appeal to join the NZ team at the world track championships in Spain next week.
Last week a disgruntled Carswell learned she and her team sprint partner, Rastrick, had been left out of the team to compete at Palma de Mallorca.
She claimed the initial decision to send the duo had been overturned, launching an appeal as her thoughts turned to quitting the sport.
