Taylor Gunman was the eventual winner of the A Grade event at last night's penultimate evening of racing in Auckland's summer criterium series at the Viaduct.
Riding for Bici Vida, Gunman outsprinted Subway-Avanti's Nick Lovegrove for the line in the BioSport City Criterium. Champion duathlete Paul Amey finished third.
Gayle Brownlee, having secured a podium stage finish in last week's UCI-sanctioned Wellington Women's Tour, won last night's Elite Women's race, outsmarting and outsprinting Rosie McCall and Kate Chilcott.
124 riders in total competed in the racing at Auckland's Viaduct Harbour last night. The final race of the six race series is next Thursday.
