New Zealand blind cyclist Jayne Parsons has won a bronze medal at the Para-Cycling Track World Championships in Montichiari, Italy.
Parsons and pilot Sonia Waddell finished third in the 1000 metres time trial while fellow New Zealanders Phillipa Gray and Laura Thompson (pilot) claimed fifth.
Nathan Smith was edged for the bronze medal in the men's C3 3000m individual pursuit by Englishman Richard Waddon, while Stephen Hills was 12th in the C2 event and Chris Ross was 17th in the C5 category over 4000m.
