Cycling: Blow for kiwi's Tour de France hopes

Injured New Zealand cyclist Julian Dean has given up hope of lining up in a second consecutive Tour de France.

Dean broke his right elbow in a crash during the sixth stage of the Giro d'Italia yesterday, and was preparing for surgery overnight.
