Cycling: Avery in third stage win

Rotorua teenager Clinton Avery has won the third stage of the equivalent of the mountain bike Tour de France.

Avery, teaming with three Australians in the eight-stage, nine-day race, holds the green jersey for points gained in stages based on fastest times on nominated laps and the white jersey for the leading under 23 rider.
