An Australian team have been confirmed for next month's Cycle Classic around Wellington and the Wairarapa. Drapac Porsche, registered as a UCI (International Cycling Union) continental team in the Oceania region, would contest the five-day race starting on January 21, said race director Jorge Sandoval. The team contain Gene Bates, Peter McDonald, Pip Grinter, Mark O'Brien and Thomas Palmer.
