BMX: Double glory for Walker

Kawerau's Sarah Walker, with second and third placings, was the best-performed New Zealander at the world BMX cycling championships in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Walker, racing in the elite section, showed her class throughout the meeting, coming home third in the finals of the junior women's race and second in the junior women's cruiser class.
