Olympic and Commonwealth Games medallist Gary Anderson announced his retirement from international cycling today.
Anderson, 34, is New Zealand's second highest Commonwealth Games medal winner.
During his career he won eight Commonwealth games medals at the 1986 and '90 games - three gold, three silver and two bronze.
He also won a bronze medal at the Olympics in 1992, which is still New Zealand's only Olympic cycling medal.
