Curling: NZ team gets silver

The New Zealand Olympic curling team yesterday won the silver medal at their final pre-Olympic tournament in Karuizawa, Japan.


The eight-team Karuizawa International tournament featured top teams from five countries and three top Japanese teams. New Zealand defeated Germany to reach the gold medal game but were beaten by Canada.
