White Ferns captain Suzie Bates became the latest WBBL centurion as she paved the way for the Adelaide Strikers' crushing 83-run win over the Hobart Hurricanes on Sunday.
The Strikers made it two wins in as many days against the Hurricanes with their 176-6 way too many for the visitors who were bowled out for 93 off 18.5 overs at Gliderol Stadium in Adelaide.
New Zealand opener Bates was the undoubted star for the Strikers hitting 102 off just 65 balls.

Bates's ton was the competition's second in as many days following Ashleigh Gardner's competition-high 114 on Saturday for the Sydney Sixers. Just two centuries were scored in the first two seasons of the WBBL.
