Lou Vincent took a share of the Auckland cricket player of the year at last night's award ceremony.
Vincent and Auckland team-mate Tama Canning were named joint winners after they played key roles in Auckland's State Championship success. Vincent was also named batsman of the year.
Former test bowler Kerry Walmsley was named bowler of the year and another from the Aces, Takapuna batsman Carl Cachopa, the young player of the year.
The club's player of the year was won by North Shore's Terry Crabb. The women's batting award went to New Zealand representative Rebecca Rolls and her team-mate Natalee Scripps took the bowling award. Barry Frost was named umpire of the year.
