Sara McGlashan has gone one better than her brother.
Less than 24 hours after Peter McGlashan scored an unbeaten 56 for the Black Caps against India, Sara scored 88 not out in the White Ferns 199-run World Cup win over South Africa in Bowral.
New Zealand rolled South Africa for just 51 after posting 250 for five in their final group match.
McGlashan says bowlers Aimee Mason and Suzie Bates took four wickets each, finishing South Africa off in clinical fashion, taking the last eight wickets for seven runs.
She says it was great to be able to knock off the tail in such a manner as they pride themselves in performing at every opportunity and they wanted to go through unbeaten.
The White Ferns secured top spot in their group and face England tomorrow in their opening Super Six match in North Sydney.
The English women are also unbeaten.
