There are days when having the same last name as a celebrity or sports-person is a good thing, and then there are bad days.
Today is one of those days Steve Smith, a feature writer for ESPN.
There have been numerous calls for the Australian cricket captain, Steve Smith, toresign following his admission that he was part of a plot to deliberately tamper the ball.
Sporting fans from around the world have taken to Twitter and other social media platforms to share their disgust with the Australian skipper.
Smith has refused to step down at this point, but calls for him to hand over the reigns to someone else are mounting.

He has received some harsh words from fans and in an unfortunate coincidence, Smith, the writer, has shared some of the tweets he's received.
"@stevesmithffx You are an embarrassment of a captain," one said.
"Embarrassed to even think I'm a support of @stevesmithffx & @CricketAus today. That's about as #unAustralian as anyone can get. #SAvAUS #lowerthanlow," wrote another.
A similar case happened last year when Steelers quarterback, Ben Roethbenberg, threw a game-ending interception pass to hand the Patriots a win in the NFL.
Upset Steelers fans took to Twitter to attack the QB, but instead tweeted another Ben Roethbenberg.
