Pakistan appeared to suffer a huge blow in their match against Australia, with star quick Mohammad Amir stretchered from the field on a medi-cab after appearing to injure his knee on the Gabba outfield.
Amir was running to his left to field a Steve Smith shot, but his right knee dug into the Gabba surface as he fell to the deck to stop the ball.
Amir tried to stand up to collect his miss-field, but immediately fell back to the ground in a painful scene.
The game was stopped as Pakistan teammates rushed to check on him before the Pakistan team physiotherapist and the Australian team doctor also ran onto the field to check Amir's condition.
After trying to carry him from the field on the back of two teammates, Amir was given some brief treatment on the boundary rope before a medi-cab came onto the field to carry him back to the Pakistan dressing room.
