New Zealand Cricket's board will receive $180,000 per year between the eight members, backdated to November 1.
At its annual meeting, a recommendation by NZC's appointments panel to provide a funding pool for the board for the first time was approved.
The board includes three former internationals, Sir Richard Hadlee, Martin Snedden and Geoff Allott. The appointments panel was headed by another former international and NZC president Stephen Boock and the chairman of three of the country's six major associations, and a Sport New Zealand representative.
The board has appointed its own member, Greg Barclay, to be its representative on the board of the Cricket World Cup 2015.
Barclay replaces former NZC chairman Chris Moller, who has been asked to stay on the CWC board as an independent advisor.
