Black Caps coach John Wright's indicated his desire to see the likes of Jacob Oram and Scott Styris continue on playing at international level.
Oram and Styris are both undecided as to whether they'll carry on playing for the Black Caps.
Both players have plenty of time to consider their futures with the next New Zealand tour not for another six months.
Wright says they were both an integral part of the World Cup squad.
He says they both played well but it's up to them to decide what they want to do.
Meanwhile, Wright says it's important New Zealand Cricket moves quickly to lock in his support staff with Allan Donald and Trent Woodhill both off contract.
