Bowlers struggle to do it, but a gastro bug has managed to rip through Kane Williamson, forcing him to miss training at Seddon Park today.
Williamson, along with Daniel Vettori and Grant Elliott suffered illness after the victory over Afghanistan in Napier. Vettori and Elliott had recovered enough to train.
Williamson is not understood to be in danger of missing New Zealand's final pool match against Bangladesh on Friday. He has the best average of the New Zealand side at the tournament, scoring 182 runs at 60.66.
Luke Ronchi was relatively frank at today's media conference, describing what the trio have gone through.
"It's a bug that comes out from certain places at simultaneous times," he explained.
Adam Milne trained lightly today after bruising the A/C joint of his shoulder against Afghanistan.
