Cricket: Gillespie unlikely to play against Kenya

Black Caps paceman Mark Gillespie is unlikely to play in the Black Caps second match of the Cricket World Cup in St Lucia.

Gillespie is nearing full fitness after a virus robbed him of power in his right arm upon arriving in the Caribbean.

He said he still cannot rush things, but has the support of management to take his time.

Gillespie said it is good to have two easier games up next, rather than a major knockout match.

The Black Caps play Kenya on Wednesday.
