Cricket: Australia, SA make winning starts to Super Eight

Australia and South Africa started the Super Eight stage of the Cricket World Cup in the best possible fashion with wins over the West Indies and Sri Lanka.

Australia defeated the West Indies by 103 runs while South Africa scraped home against Sri Lanka to win by one wicket.
